Mui Ne sand dunes are major attractions in Phan Thiet, these are artful creations of sun and wind. The sand dunes change in shape by the hour and are diverse in colors, depending on the location. Red Sand Dunes is one of unique attractions in Mui Ne. This sand dunes is not as spectacular as White Sand Dunes, but it has its own charming features. Red Sand Dunes stretches along the sand strip of Binh Thuan. The scenery here is painted with a red pink color under the influence of monsoon seasons all year round.

Mui Ne Red Sand Dunes is located in the North of Mui Ne Village, about 25 km from Phan Thiet City. Without outstanding scenery like White Sand Dunes, Red Sand Dunes fascinates tourists by its convenient resorts, and beautiful beach view.

The Red Sand Dunes can be found on the coastal road off the north end of Mui Ne village. They are thronged with local tourists and children offering sand boarding for rent. It is fun to slide down the dunes with this means. Red Sand Dunes are worth a stop (for photographing) on the way to White Sand Dunes (Bau Trang).
